Hi,
There is program PuppetMaster, for controlling computer from phone via bluetooth. It also works with java enalbed phones(with BT). I copied java file to my S55, started it and recieved error: "Cannot create class in system package". I contacted author of this program (www.lim.com.au) and he said:"phone supports bluetooth and java, but it doesn't allow the java programs to control the bluetooth connection"... How enable java apps to use BT? Is there any patch for vklay, or maybe is it easy to made to fix this problem? I would be very thankfull..and not just me |

You can't fix this problem.
This depends on the Java platform installed on the device. For the puppetmaster program (java program) to be able to "use" the bluetooth capabilities of the phone, the java platform should have the capability to "interface" with the phone's various functions. The java platform (micro edition) on the S55 is version 1.0 and is not capable of doing that. Many of the Java platform version 2's are capable of that, but not all of them (depends on what the manufacturer included in the platform, so-called JSR-APIs). Regards: PB |
